American Whiteness
This work began in 2019 in earnest but it reflects my through line as an artist- my search for freedom and liberation. This statement exists while acknowledging the complexities of privilege and the lived experiences that make our differences profound. Ultimately though, I believe art can create spaces that go unnamed (by me at least), that offer locations to process our differences in a way that can bring about unity.
